have everyone brought back their books n started to study? notice i didnt use the word mug. (: getting curious about why people say mugmugmug when it comes to studying & people call themselves or others mugger. soooo being so boliao i went to dictionary.com to find the defination of mug. n here is one of the 9 results i found.

heh and there is no result of relating to studying. hoho. So when people say we are mug-gers do they mean we are gulliable and easy to take advantage of? hahas just something to think about.
well thanks goodgoodfriend for your advices& i did cry about it. /: but dont worry, i'm back to my cheerful self, i think. hmm anw yesterday or rather today was talking to somebody about "S'pore is in a precarious state; considering the instability of the economy. indirectly, our presence on earth in future would have something to do with the survival of us beings. as in we should all study hard and contribute in future."so study hard. which ways? how?-there is no right or wrong answer, its just based on one's point of view. different people have different perspective.
Disclaimer: The below part is strictly based on personal point of view. It only happens to be an coincidence that if your friend or you had been inside the point of view of ruimin's. Also, when reading, please keep your mind clear as i'm not trying to propagate your thinkings. You may think that parts of it are not correct but this is just MY point of view.
People are to be categorize into their level of abilities thus to study within their level of abilities so that it would facilitate learning, and not stall it and since better abilites means better contribution to the economy in future thus its not okay to stall learning.
But learning're done in schools which had already been categorize into the level of abilities while studying is only a form of revision of works learnt thus i don't feel that it will stall anytime in learning. & isnt it better for higher abilities people to teach those of lower abilities people until both parties are of the same abilities? & when Singapore have more people of good abilities aint it contributing to the economy? Also,when lower abilities people study with people of higher ones, people will get motivated to study, thus why must we be categorize when studying?
it'll seriously hamper the advancement. &the best way, is that everyone work hard for themselves. that will be the motivation for all to be industrious.
Well it only depends on the kind of person whether will the advancement will be hinder or not. Aint it a waste of talent for those higher abilities not to teach those of lower when they can teach without hindering the advancement? If everyone could work hard for themselves, being able to motivate themself to be industrious, why is there a need of teachers?. Infering from schools, i agree to a certain extent that the best way is everyone work hard themselves but there are times when people just could not.Thus we had teachers to motivate students into studying. For some exceptional cases, students don't really like to heed the advices and normally won't get the motivation from teachers so where esle can they get? well its back to friends who had higher abilities.
Hence, there is no best way for people, like said, different people have different perspective, if the people are able to motivate one another without hindering the advancement, i see no reason that others should oppose to it. Example, Person A have been hanging around, studying with person B of lower abilities than A. & Person C sees and think that B is hampering A, thus C voice out his opinions and thoughts to B then both B & C started quarrelling, but is it really right to do that? in C point of view, he may think that B is hampering A but what did A really thinks? A may think by studying with B, its a help to revise those previous topics he had learnt and A knew that B isnt hampering with his progress. So doesnt it makes those quarrels unmeaningful? and basically there is no point in continuing the quarrels.
In conclusion, humans are made up differently and they each have their individuals kind of studying ways. One cannot pressume that what the other doing is wrong because a person knows himself the best. How can an outsider says he knew the person better when he isnt the one with the person's mind and body. Advantages, it may deem to one that its of his advantage to stop his way of studying but then th person might not like the studying way one introduce to him and by having such disliking mindset, the result is undesirable. Thus, it all depends on the individuals the way he/she wanted to study, outsiders only can give advices to a point. Because when outsiders gives more than enough advices to a person, the consequence is undesirable.
